inkblots

 trappings of dead tapestries
loosening yet familiarity
rushes in veins
and the door seems unhinged
swinging only to shut

but with a faded inkblot postscript
prying open clouds of darkness
for hope
keeps the floor firm
amid the unravelling smithereens
