Again

Again
among cigar burns that nosedive to nostalgia
again
among cold vengeful lips trimming blissful dahlia
again
love's falsetto climbs the rungs of screeching symphony
again
love's ghetto mutilates breathing rocks among waterfalls broken and bony

devastation again
cups our breath
chews our desires
hope again
blinds away death
rekindling fires

But among peaceful love
sweet honey brings bliss
brotherhoods dangle above
tearing apart souls trying to be together while life is amiss

Has it rained on the gardens yet?

Has it rained on the gardens yet? Has the sky shed its tears out of yearnings for change Have the reins on fury been pulled Has the sin been...
