Misfire

Shall I shoot,
Or shouldn't I,
I'm being paid enough to last a lifetime,
But also the guilt of taking a life,
A baggage too heavy to carry,
But right now I am penniless,
But if I shoot,
Two children three and eight lose a  father
A young wife a husband,
Who did nothing wrong,
But yet my dreams,
A life of little to a bungalow of my own,
Ten limousines and other fancy cars and bikes,
But yet and again their dreams,
A good education and a bright career ahead,
His innocence should not be punished,
No I drop my gun,
A life taken,
Who am I to take it?
